Philip Carter, Key Official In Guantanamo Closure, Resigns

Published on Huffington Post, November 24, 2009.

A key official in the Obama administration’s effort to remake detention policy and close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay has resigned … … and then finished, all the text is disappearing.

(My comment: what makes me suspicious is the disappearing of Huffington’s page after only seconds – listen guys, this is not good behavior -  we have to deconnect the computer from the Internet to read at least the remaining small text saying “Philip Carter, who was appointed deputy assistant secretary of defense for detainee policy in April, said in a brief telephone interview that he was leaving for “personal and family reasons” and not because of any policy differences with the administration. He tendered his resignation Friday, Pentagon officials said”
… same on many other websites. WHAT THE HELL WHY ?

Only the article of the New York Times is not disappearing, yes, of a well submitted mainstream media!? … and of those who copy NYT and similar.
