1. LOOKING FOR BOARD MEMBERS TO SERVE MALAWI ORGANISATION COMMITTED TO CHILDREN’S RIGHTS
People Serving Girls At Risk is currently looking for people with good reputation and standing in women’s and children’s rights to serve as board members for the next three years. Only persons who are prominent members in the society and generally recognized for their achievements and personal integrity are eligible to be Trustees for People Serving Girls At Risk.
People Serving Girls At Risk is a registered organization incorporated under the Trustees Incorporation Act of Malawi as a human rights non-governmental organization. It was established in line with the Convention on the Rights of Child (CRC), particularly Article 28.2, which states, “school discipline is administered in a manner consistent with the child’s human dignity and in conformity with the Convention”, Article 35, which talks about abduction, Articles 34 & 36 which oblige states to “protect children from sexual exploitation”, Articles 37 and 39, which talk about protecting children from torture, inhuman or degrading treatment, and the provision of rehabilitative care to victims of any kind of violence, exploitation and abuse.
People Serving Girls at Risk’s mission is to fight against the exploitation of children like trafficking, labour and commercial sexual exploitation through rehabilitation, reintegration and educating children and their communities to remain vigilant against such practices. Its vision is a nation in which children live a dignified life free of exploitation, abuse, violence, labor and can no longer be victims of trafficking.

2. SEEKING RESOURCES ON AFRICAN UNION PEACEKEEPING AND HUMAN RIGHTS
Dear colleagues, I am seeking information or links to resources (publications, speeches, treaties) on human rights and international humanitarian law (IHL) issues in intra-state armed conflicts on the African continent, specifically as relates to African Union (AU) peacekeeping missions/peace support operations (including reports/assessments providing a critique of the AU peace and security mechanisms from the human rights perspective, as well as legal instruments binding AU or AU member states to adhere to human rights and IHL standards.

3. LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGE PROGRAMS RELATED TO SOCIAL JUSTICE
As part of my doctoral research in adult learning at Teachers College, Columbia University, I am looking for information on undergraduate college programs that focus on social justice issues. I would be grateful to receive any information on either degree programs or individual courses (syllabi, other program documentation, websites, etc.).
