British and Irish DNA … and how they look, 30.36 min, uploaded on YouTube by babyboosabz, March 29, 2013: A video charting the interesting origins of British and Irish DNA, which also explains the use of the term ‘the black Irish’. This video was not made to offend anyone in anyway, but rather to show just how interesting and diverse the Irish and British history is;

Deoxyribonucleic acid DNA on en.wikipedia … is a molecule that encodes the genetic instructions used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms and many viruses. DNA is a nucleic acid; alongside proteins and carbohydrates, nucleic acids compose the three major macromolecules essential for all known forms of life …;

Haplogroup on en.wikipedia … is a group of similar Haplotypes that share a common ancestor, having the same single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) mutation in all Haplotypes. Because a Haplogroup consists of similar Haplotypes, it is possible to predict a Haplogroup from Haplotypes. An SNP test confirms a Haplogroup. Haplogroups are assigned letters of the alphabet, and refinements consist of additional number and letter combinations, for example R1b1. Y-chromosome and mitochondrial DNA Haplogroups have different Haplogroup designations. Haplogroups pertain to deep ancestral origins dating back thousands of years[1] …;
